H.R. No. 717

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The MillerCoors Fort Worth Brewery is commemorating
	its 45th anniversary on February 25, 2015, and this significant
	milestone is indeed deserving of special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, The then Miller Brewing Company celebrated the
	opening of this facility with a German-style spirit of
	Gemütlichkeit, with company president Charles Miller handing out to
	attendees the first bottles of Miller High Life to roll off the
	production line; and
	WHEREAS, A few years later, the brewery became the first in
	the country to distribute the popular Miller Lite pilsner, and in
	1990 it added Miller Genuine Draft to its lineup; today, a staff of
	some 650 employees takes pride in crafting a variety of beers at the
	plant, whose annual production capacity has grown to nine million
	barrels; and
	WHEREAS, The MillerCoors Fort Worth Brewery stands at the
	forefront of sustainable business practices within the industry,
	utilizing a number of innovative water and energy conservation
	techniques while continuing to produce the high-quality beverages
	that its customers desire; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout the past four and a half decades, the
	MillerCoors Fort Worth Brewery has made a substantial contribution
	to the Texas economy while giving back to its community in myriad
	ways, and it is a privilege to recognize the role it plays in
	advancing the prosperity of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be
	it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby recognize February 25, 2015, as MillerCoors Fort
	Worth Brewery Day at the State Capitol and commemorate the
	brewery's 45 years of operation; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the MillerCoors Fort Worth Brewery as an expression of
	high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
