SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 365
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize Tomas Sidney Spradlin, who is retiring from the Texas
	Department of Licensing and Regulation on August 31, 2015, after
	35 years of exemplary state service; and
	WHEREAS, Tom Spradlin began his career by serving as an
	assistant manager for Mid Tex Farm Supply Cooperative in Round
	Rock; after earning his master's degree, he began working as a
	credit analyst for Corpus Christi Bank and Trust; and
	WHEREAS, He joined the Texas State Securities Board as a
	securities analyst in 1980 and worked his way through the ranks
	to become the director of Information Resources and Planning;
	while serving in this capacity, he wrote uniform securities
	registration guidelines for the North American Securities
	Administrators Association; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Spradlin has served as a budget analyst for
	the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation since 2002; he
	is respected and admired by his colleagues who have benefited
	from his expertise, and his presence at the department will be
	greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
	Legislature, hereby commend Tomas Sidney Spradlin on his
	exemplary career and on his many contributions to our state and
	extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
